Has anyone ever had any luck farming these? Specifically, that of ebon and icy scythe snathes?

If so, where?

I think mods on weapons and foci are random.
If your looking for scythes with elemental mods, try farming Acolyte of Grenth for Cold damage, and Bubahl for earth damage

if your looking for the mod, save yourself the time, save up 500 gold, and buy one in Kamadan...

you know for a second i thought this thread was about and idea to introduce elemental scythes, much like elemental swords.

I've actually been trying to do just that. Maybe I'm not on at the right time or something.

That. Elemental mods are commonplace and loads of people are willing to sell them on-the-cheap.
